Prospex have become increasingly aware and concerned of the huge issues many of our Young People face on a daily basis within the family unit. Many of which are related to unemployment, drugs, violence, poor communication, low self esteem & confidence, bad relationships with either parent or other member of family or lack of time spent with one another.

It is our belief that we should respond to this and act making sure that these Parents & Young People receive the right level of support needed to enable them to function effectively in the family unit developing in them confidence, self belief, personal skills and family values.

Prospex has always worked at supporting families as this is where the true work with a Young Person needs to happen. We have done that through regular parental meetings and through contact via or programmes with Young People.

It is our desire to recruite a full time Family Support Coodinator to concentrate one hundred percent in this area. This is something we are actively seeking funding for and hope this will be a reality soon.
