Prospex prides its self upon the relationships it has with all the Young People it works and comes in contact with. We have been able to do this due to the original detached work started a number of years ago with another local organisation of the time ‘The Cally Detached Project’, (sadly no longer in operation). This gave Prospex not only a link to the local community, but more importantly the Young People who were already accepting the ‘Cally Detached Project’. From this valuable relationship Prospex has been able to continue to build on the Detached Work, lead by our Prospex Street Team, which is now happening on a regular daily basis. Sessions happen at various times meeting different groups in different areas, constantly building relationships with local Young People but also the wider Community.

This is paramount. If your goal is to influence or impact a community or group of people the key has to be ‘TIME SPENT’ whether that’s 5 minutes at a time or two hours. Prospex has based its Detached Work around these principles.
