As a volunteer you could help us by doing any of the following:

• Introduce us to potential sponsors who may like to contribute to our work.

To be as effective as possible Prospex uses a bank of quality sessional youth workers, who are paid per hour for their skills and talents. These may carry out one 2 one sessions with young people using music, sport or art for example as the tool to engage with them. Others may be part of a team delivering detached work through our Street Teams or deliver one of our short term projects. All the workers we use have one thing in common which is a passion to see young people grow and develop in all areas of their lives.

We are currently hiring for:

4 x Prospex Street Team (Detached Sessional Workers)

to work Tuesday and Friday evenings – 2.5 hours per session

and 3 x youth workers to work in a youth club setting on a Friday evening 3 hours per week with a possible additional evening per week.

Requirements:

• relevant youth work qualification
• flexible / reliable
• excellent communication skills
• work well under pressure
• team player
