Life has been extremely busy at Prospex with us really moving forward with our Family Support Worker, interviews are tomorrow so hopefully we will be able to make an official announcement soon. It has been interseting talking to people about the role, straight away the perception is that we are appointing a social worker and you immeadiatley see barriers go up. It shows the importance of how we communicate the role and that we need to explain what this person will be doing.

I am currently developing our Literacy support looking to launch in the new year and am looking to put a group together to explore some of the issues around this. If you have a passion for literacy and feel this is an area you could contribute to why not get in touch.

We are planning to hold a volunteers evening for our existing volunteers and for anyone interested in getting involved. It is being held on October 28th 7.30pm - 9.30pm at 334-336 Caledonian Road,
