Prospex Works
Prospex Works aims to support and encourage Young People who are not in any form of education or employment, to gain the confidence to better themselves by developing the necessary skills and experience to find the direction and career they want to follow.
The majority of the young people we work with have few or no qualifications so this is a vital stage in giving them a true taste of work and showing them that they have something to offer.
There are three streams to this project; the Placement Scheme, Prospex Works Lifeskills and Job Club.
Find out more about Prospex WorksWe are hoping to see the re launch of this work stream this term if we can secure funding. As an addition we will be able to offer an accredited ASDAN award to young people going through the placement scheme making the experience even more worthwhile.
Job Club has steadily been running every week helping young people with CVs and Job search. It is run by one of our volunteers, Michael Bull, who has developed a real skill in this area.
