Prospex Works

Prospex Works aims to support and encourage Young People who are not in any form of education or employment, to gain the confidence to better themselves by developing the necessary skills and experience to find the direction and career they want to follow.

The majority of the young people we work with have few or no qualifications so this is a vital stage in giving them a true taste of work and showing them that they have something to offer.

There are three streams to this project; the Placement Scheme, Prospex Works Lifeskills and Job Club.

Prospex Works Lifeskills is a new strand that we are currently developing which will aim to train young people with trade skills working towards gaining NVQ qualifications and, in time, City and Guilds. It is the brainchild of Frank Barnard (one of our volunteers) who will head up this work when we have secured the funding. It is an exciting proposal that will prepare young people we work with for getting an apprenticeship. If you are interested in this new project please contact us and we will send you a proposal. Contact info@prospex.org or phone 020 7607 7626.
