A group of volunteers met with Beef and Josette this month to help develop a literacy programme we aim to launch in the New Year.
Our aim is to train 15 volunteers on how to deliver literacy to our young people.
We are looking to sign up 15 young people who need help in this area who will meet weekly to improve their reading, writing and numeracy skills.
Volunteers will need to commit to 20 hours training and then regular weekly sessions with the young person.
The sessions will have three young people being tutored at the same time but each with a dedicated worker.
